Sponsor a Blog Contest and Win

The title may be a little confusing but if you sponsor a contest you can actually be the one who comes out winning. There are many reasons to sponsor a contest and you can use many forms to be a sponsor. I am going to take you through many reasons why sponsoring a contest is a great idea.
Become known
Sponsoring a contest can help you to become known and in return it will give you more traffic. I love it when I see other people helping out a fellow blogger but I also know the reason behind this. When you sponsor a contest the contest host lets everyone know that a particular prize has been give by that particular person
Build up Back links
Back links have become one of the windows of building a blogging success and when you sponsor a blogger, the back link helps to make your blog even more popular when they list you as one of the sponsors. People will also begin to talk about the blog contest and your name will in doubt be mentioned in blogs across the blogging world.
Traffic
Who doesn’t love relevant traffic? If you sponsor a blog contest that is relevant to your blog the traffic will pour in if the contest is popular enough. If you want to help in making it even more popular, start talking about it in forums and on your blog. There are many top bloggers that will allow you to sponsor one of their contests if you just ask.
Build your RSS feed
I have seen many people do this after sponsoring a blog contest. The way that your RSS feed becomes built up is after people start to become curious to whom you are and wanting to know more about you. When they click on your site and realize that you have a lot of valuable information out there they will sign up for your RSS feed to stay up to date.
Potential customers
It doesn’t matter what you sell, what you promote, or if you are using Google Adsense for your blog, when your name gets out there you will be getting potential customers that could help you to build a nice little nest egg or as I like to say; a great shopping spree.

I became a sponsor in a contest once and I also joined it. In the end, I won a bigger prize than what I sponsor and also traffic & backlinks to my blog. It’s a winning, indeed.
